The Kinderinsel Team


We offer a teacher/child ratio in our childcare facility of 1 teacher caring for 4 children only. During the adjustment period of a new child, we even offer one-on-one contact if necessary.

Two certified teachers, three interns, one cook, one secretary and the managing director work daily at the Kinderinsel. They all know each child and their individual needs so that the children receive a lot of care and attention.

The absence of a teacher is not a problem for the children as we have several certified substitute teachers who fill in at short notice. The children know many of these substitute teachers already through the Kinderhotel and the Kinderinsel Mobile.

Our teaching staff regularly takes part in professional development workshops to have the latest teaching methods.

The Kinderinsel team aims to work together with parents in the best interest of the individual child. Our goal is to create a climate of trust. The contact with parents is very important to us and we are always open for parental wishes and suggestions. Besides the daily brief conversations at drop-off and pick-up time, longer conferences with the teachers and/or managing director may at any time be scheduled. We hold a parent evening 2 times per year. We see ourselves as an extension of your family - so, if there is anything on your mind, just let us know!
