Hello Kids, Hello Parents!
There is always something happening on the weekend at Children's Island: we take adventure tours through some of Berlin's museums, theaters and the Zoo; we have pajama sleepover parties, afterschool homework assistance, and cooking workshops; we learn exciting and important facts about our city and also other countries. Join the fun at Children's Island and come along for a few hours, a whole day or for a pajama sleepover party until the next morning. The many different island adventures that take place on the weekend are for children between the ages 6 and 14 years. We need at least 3 registrations by every Friday at 2 pm to start an adventure, workshop or sleepover. So go ahead and give us a call or write an e-mail to register. We would love to hear from you! The cost for an adventure tour & workshop is 18 – 20 Euro per child and for the pajama sleepover party 69 Euro per child.

Adventure tour "Filmmuseum"

We visit the world of film and TV.

Pyjamaparty "Spanish Night"
Saturday, 19th of June 2010, 7 pm until Sunday, 20th of June 2010, 9 am
With funny, games we learn something about tht country, animals, we cook tortilla together and dance flamenco
Cost: 69 Euros per child

Adventure tour "zoo"
Sunday, 26th of June 2010, 1 to 4 pm
What is a zoo? Let us see, what great animals live there.
costs: 30,-€/ child

After-school Homework Assistance
Homework can be so easy! With a little help, you can do everything from Math to History homework!
Cost: as of 3 children 8,00 Euro/hour and 1 child 13,00/hour

We visit the wather playground and show you the wonderful flower territory

Pyjamaparty "Russian Night"
Saturday, 10th of June 2010, 7 pm until Sunday, 11th of June 2010, 9 am
With knowledge games about the country we play and learn to cook a Russian meal calles "Borschtsch", listen to fair tales, dance to Russian music and say good bye with a tasty breakfest.

Adventure tour "Miniatur Welten"
Saturday, 17th of July 2010, 1 - 4 pm
The big world is so small. Discover whole Berlin in a few hours in benchmark 1:87.

Workshop "We bake muffins"

Do you have a favorite muffin? We bake together with you and show you all the ingredients of the one you like mostly!

We see how and when the subway was build and how the train was used earlier.

Pyjamaparty "Pirates board the Kinderinsel"
Saturday, 21st of August 2010, 7 pm until Sunday, 22nd of June 2010, 9 am
We are sailing through the big ocean and discover places faraway. Like on a pirate ship we eat Fish.

Adventure tour "Stars over Berlin"
Saturday, 28th of August 2010, 2 - 5 pm
At a tour across the "Sternwarte" we teach you the dimension of the universe. You learned about the history of the astronomy and the history of the "Sternwarte" and you can discover more interested things.
Cost: 18 Euros per child
